JDS Firewood is a locally owned and operated Hawke’s Bay firewood business, built from the ground up with strong roots in forestry, machinery, and wood processing.

Owner-operator Dan is directly involved in all aspects of the business — from sourcing timber from local farms, forestry blocks, and shelterbelts, through to overseeing processing and delivery. This hands-on approach ensures consistency, accountability, and a product we confidently stand behind.
